Blog-motivated exercise plan!

So I have decided to get back into gym … again!  I go through months of not wanting to go due to sheer laziness, finally feeling fat and ugly, motivation strikes and I am ready to hit the treadmill!  I wish this motivation lasted months, but sadly it lasts a few days.  Well motivation has hit again and this time, by God I am determined to keep myself going.  I was in the middle of trying to figure out how I can cash in on this motivation streak but sustain it as well when I stumbled across this - The Top 42 Exercise Hacks! Point number 11 on this list caught my eyes like a light beacon.  BLOG ABOUT IT! It was like the cosmic world was screaming at me to get off my lazy arse, stop whining, make the time and get going! Why didn’t I think of this before! And so without further delay, this blog will now become my motivation to sweat, curse and wheeze my way to a new healthy me.

For starters, here is my gym routine for the moment:

  • 20 minutes on the elliptical machine - I love this workout, it is not boring and works my entire body.
  • 20 minutes on the stationary bike - this usually tires me out, but I love the burn I feel in my thighs and I always get through the last 10 minutes by mentally screaming “DIE THIGH FAT DIE!” to keep me motivated!

Once I can actually survive these 40 minutes without feeling like I am about to die, I will add on another 20 minutes of either rowing, walking or running.

Secondly, these are my current measurements:

  • Weight: 60 kgs
  • Waist: 82 cm & Hips: 94 cm

I will post weekly updates on my progress and hopefully by December 2008, I will have reached by goal weight of 50kgs and a flat tummy!

Oh just in case this whole blog-motivation looses its lustre, I have also pinned up a picture of random hot model chick on my desk at work - nothing like seeing flat stomach, tight ass and toned legs on another woman to make me feel the need to cuss the skinny bitch and prove that I can look like that too! In Your Face Lack-of-Motivation!!
